January 25, 2009: Thanks God I hate read books or we don't use library at all!

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090124/ap_on_fe_st/odd_library_book_theft

A woman arrested for unreturned library book titled "The Freedom Writers Diary".
Doggone it! I can't believe that how she doing that with the book. Maybe, she slow reader?
What a wasting taxpayer money for her being in the jail for it?! Ridiculous!!!
Gov't want more deeper debt for our country! Insane! They don't care about how much our own debts.

SUBJECT: Hearing Impaired is worst label ever for the deafness

I am don't like to see the label is "Hearing Impaired", but it is still a politically correct. I wish that label to the deaf and hard-of-hearing should replace as take over the old label "Hearing Impaired as PC will going away. I have new slang dictionary for you -- P.C. is means: politically correct. You may seen the label hearing impaired seen on the newspapers, DVD or Blu-ray menu, TV, and etc. I was bit...disturbed by that label that mean is not good for the deaf and hard of hearing people.
I love to see that label that says, something for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.

I am lovin' it to put this blog in my website to talk about LED rocks that you might want to know about CFL? I hate CFL (compact fluorescent bulb) alot! Yeah, I would boycott to buying CFL since CFL get smelled as burned in my bedroom while I took a nap as my aunt close the door at about 8 months ago -- that time, then CFL went up while its turn off. Few seconds later, I left it turn on while it brights a bit over average, then it has went to smoke like fire from plastic, so I turned it off within plug, it didn't get turn it off as switch lamp is... feeling not clickly, just smoothly. But it didn't went off, immediately so I pulled the plug for safety. W-hoa! It's terrible to smell from that! This smells like fire from plastic or circuit. That's gross! I opened the windows for taking an ventilation. Weird! It's scary-- it was a ghost, but no! It looks like haunting rest in my life after wild flicking that it might wrong in the socket but I feel this bulb did get correctly?

Another story about boycott CFL any products: a deaf person died from CFL bulb that breaks then it releases the air with tiny mercury.

I can't believe our gov't taken away our freedom as U.S. government ordered any companies to cease from making an incandescent light bulbs by 2012 or 2014. Right now, it's now about $20-80 each bulb from online store, it will be soon hit the stores in the 5 years or so. Anyways, we using incandescent light bulbs for now until LED will hit costs going down by 5 years, I hope so! I will using LED because they don't have mercury or recycle is required by a law. For talking about CFL - I have some problems with two of them were burning out as it builts not correctly so they don't make life-longer that worse than regular bulb life, plus you must given into recycle by Minnesota law. But what about not accessible to recycling center for some areas that where are not available, they can't find recycling center, until now, there are Menards store is now offering free recycling in our area! Kudos to Menards so I don't worry about CFL would be burned out. but CFL had burned out early than regular bulb life, what a waste money! That's over, I will not buying CFL anymore in my life since not only I have huge problem with smoke but as well for other bulb has died out early or defective ones. Kiss my butt CFL even gov't mandate to buying method instead regular bulb, I won't using it. I will using Dot-it LED are made by Sylvania if LED bulb still expensive in 2012 or 2014.

I bought "Chucky 20th Anniversary Edition" and "The Simpsons 11th Season" today at Target.

I glad MGM does providing closed-captioning for video bonus materials on Chucky's 20th Anniversary Edition except for audio commentaries, trailers, and theatrical trailers. But, photo gallery because it doesn't have audio.
I am very surprised that even MGM does not failing about closed-captioning put in
three easter eggs when you select on chucky's two eyes, then press enter after find Chucky's eye have red spot on them. I want to show you to look for the Chucky's toy around at the special feature part one and main menu that leads to movie, bonus, language and scene selection, you will find a Chucky toy...
While you are here at Part I bonus material menu after you going to right area as you are below red line under from Audio commentary is off with Alex Vicent, etc is where a part is off then right again, there is red spot of Chucky's eyes, press enter.
Part II bonus material menu easter egg code: when you are here at red line
below the play all from Evil Comes In Small Package, then you press right after
you are while on red line below "play all".
At last, main menu -- when you are here as you have red line below the Play Feature,
then you press left so you will notice two red spot on Chucky's eyes.
I hope bonus materials are good as movie, but I expected a little good ratings than the movie.

I am disappointed about Fox still not providing closed-captioning on bonus materials
for "The Simpsons 11th Season". Oh well, luckily, someone give a money for my birthday,
it doesn't matter. I will yet still enjoying these episodes probably better than bonus
materials.

October 12, 2008

For deaf and hard-of-hearing will have gain attraction visit at my website for more great information about bonus materials are captioned/subtitled or not list for DVD only that I have added titles for Monk fans even if you are not deaf and hard-of-hearing that wants to set the captions on for such as: talking chattering environment while gathering with your family or friends, noisy environment, keep volume down during nighttime or your children need to be sleep, children learn to read captions, for read the captions lovers, and learning
English as second language.

I hope you will enjoy my lists about bonus materials are subtitled or not.

(note: bold with italics for bonus titles of DVD)

I am pleased surprised Monk Season third, fourth, and fifth seasons with bonus materials have SDH (subtitled for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) except for audio commentaries.

Let's talk about the third season of the Monk DVD set of the -- I watched on bonus materials about
Life Before Monk, that is not too much enjoyable as Natalie Teeger Profile.
There is good bonus material is: Monk profile on third season DVD set.
But I don't watch favorites about cast and crew reveal their favorite scenes yet, because
it may contain spoilers for me, so I afraid to getting spoilers with captions.

Fourth season of the Monk DVD set contain bonus materials seems useless about the writing, but I don't watch yet, but these fully bonus materials are SDH.

Fifth Season DVD of the Monk is best throw in bonus together in the Monk DVD set are fully subtitled except for audio commentary.
Psych Pilot Episode, but I haven't watched it yet. I hope Psych will be good review like Monk. I sure for the Monk will still better than Psych in my opinion because Monk is more funnier, laughing more than that pilot episode.
Another thing is about -- all Websiodes are now SDH for the deaf and hard-of-hearing that waited for this, however there are them have up to 2 minutes. It's bit disappointing about length time. I wish them have up to 5 minutes, that why that them would be good
thing!

There are bad news for deaf and hard-of-hearing fans of Monk that I have checked them -- I was disappointed with First Season of the Monk with bonus materials are not
fully subtitled, however all episodes are subtitled.
That seems so good bonus materials, so I likely to ask my sister
for interpreting, so I can review it for them when I get done.
Mr. Monk And His Origins
Mr. Monk And His O.C.D.
Mr. Monk And His Fellow Sufferers
MR. Monk And His Emmy Award Winning Performance
Mr. Monk And His Partners In Crime

Again, worse news about bonus material is not fully subtitled for the Second Season of the Monk. However, episodes are fully subtitled.
This season with bonus materials are not too much important or a little such as:
Disher (Jason Gray-Stanford) Character Profile
Stottlemeyer (Ted Levin) Character Profile
that those bonus materials are useless like profile from just like same as on third season does that I did watched them, because they are not getting too help to get information from bonus materials about profile from second and third seasons about them that so
I don't care about them.
At last to tell you about extras -- I am not certainly or seen that bonus materials:
The Minds Behind Monk

Here's a extra list for the captioned/subtitled on bonus features in this addition:
Run Fat Boy Run from New Line Entertainment have closed-captioned. One thing is messy thing: there is such thing -- mislabeled that said English SDH from distributed by
Warner Bros Home Entertainment that responsible for New Line Entertainment DVD. Because English SDH is not there in from DVD menu that have language for English or Spanish subtitled but where is English SDH, even also option from DVD player itself for English SDH is not provided for this movie. Bad news for progressive scan mode or upscaling so you have set in 480i resolution that close-captions can work because it doesn't have SDH.

For deaf and hard-of-hearing who wants SDH - HDMI or component closed-captioned will not work, because it can't pass the Line-21 captions through a black bar vertical is missing this screen far up is hidden in the television screen. That's period! So you have subtitled on English, that is OK. I prefer SDH on any movies are better on HD upconverting.
Anyways, Movie and most extras are closed-captioned and in English (not SDH) and Spanish subtitles,
but one extras are not closed-captioned but subtitled in English and Spanish is Goof.
No subtitles or closed-captions for audio commentary on this movie.

August 20, 2008

"I bought a DVD for Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and BS... they don't have SDH on bonus materials, what the wrong with them?!"

I am pissed off at WB for not providing SDH on these extras. I am not happy with WB for not providing SDH on bonus materials but episodes are English SDH. If I can't return it to the store, because it is copyright, but what about deaf and hard-of-hearing issues to captioning/SDH on bonus features, shame on you, Warner Bros. I wish I can sue the Warner Bros
for not only for millions of dollars but we need settlement with them AND even Sony Picture Home Entertainment. Thanks God, I have my cousin would gave me money to the court for battle against the Warner Bros; or you maybe do it?

July 15, 2008

Serial Mom: Collector's Edition movie from Universal Studios version. Why any retail stores doesn't offer that movie, because these copies are for online only. However, I rented from Netflix. Thanks to Netflix.

Guess what?! Universal Studios has subtitled SDH only for two audio commentaries and extras including trailers. Great work, Universal! Keep it up!

March 31, 2008

I am very disappointed with Sony has too many loopholes. I want to show that DVD settlement by Joe Clark. http://blog.fawny.org/2006/06/02/dvdcc/

Sometimes they can get a loopholes for any reason (see on above for this link).
I did check on the back box said: "Special Features not rated and may not be
subtitled or closed-captioned." by Sony statements. I think Netflix don't have 10th Anniversary Edition for this movie.
So, I took a gamble to buy for Groundhog Day 10th Anniversary Edition, and I got no luck. Sony did release for most all-new release has subtitles includes: Spiderman 3, Superbad, Hostel 2, Surf Up, Perfect Stranger, Vacancy, Are We Done Yet, and The Premonition that I seen them.
Sony did not have closed-captioned nor SDH for special features, but subtiled for English nor SDH. [SDH - subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing].

Also, these movies from MGM has statement, it said, "SPECIAL FEATURES CONTAINS UNRATED MATERIAL AND MAY NOT BE CLOSED CAPTIONED" include all movies after July 2007 and after goes on. There are exclusion from having captioning or subtitled on trailers, and audio commentaries; also subtitles won't be on bonus materials but these movies have closed captions for
bonus materials.
Here's a movie lists from MGM studios:
12 Angry Men: 50th Anniversary Edition (I read from his reviews from DVDtalk.com by Randy Miller)
Misery: Collection's Edition (I read on his reviews on dvdtalk.com by Randy Miller)
Robocop: 20th Anniversary Edition has closed captioned on most bonus materials except for trailers.(I got a gift from Uncle)
Mr. Brooks (I rented it from Netflix.com) only has closed captioning on bonus
materials except audio commentary and trailers.
Dog's Breakfast including deleted scenes has closed captioned except
audio commentary.

I will have list for WB including audio commentaries and Universal Studios (only one audio commentary has subtitled for Universal Studios on some movies except for TV shows on DVD by class settlement. Anyways, here's the list for WB by mine.

- Unaccompanied Minors from WB - has subtitles SDH (subtitles for deaf and hard-of-hearing) replace for closed-captioned in first place that I watched but why not closed-captioned, but SDH that make cost effective for WB. Surprisingly,
WB has subtitles for commentary and all extras features including easter
eggs!

- 300 from WB has subtitles on everything bonus materials except
for easter eggs I have read on dvd-subtitles.com for 300 that this note posted by Codeman38: "Interestingly enough, on the Region 1 version, almost everything is subtitled. The hidden easter egg isn't, if I recall, but the commentary and featurettes are indeed subtitled." (Unfortunately I got HD-DVD console
and I have two free movies from pack inside including: 300, and Bourne
Identify. 300 for HD-DVD doesn't have subtitles including SDH are on bonus materials.

- Nip and Tuck Season Four from WB has subtitles, but I don't have to full review, there are most bonus materials on disc 5 has only SDH that I reviewed because I rented for disc 5. Because I wanted to check them all bonus materials on other discs of this show. Maybe, I think disc 5 have most or all bonus features.

- Ocean Thirteen from WB has SDH for all bonus features. I rented this from
Netflix and I already checked everything.

- The Brave One from WB has only SDH for all bonus features. I rented this
from Netflix and I already checked everything.

Please Note: But we don't need list for Universal Studios and Buena Vista Home Entertainment because they are already has supersedes that settlement includes TV shows. Though, I got one list for Disney for add captioning and SDH on bonus materials for the National Treasure: 2-Disc Collection was released on December 18, 2007 that deaf people didn't know until you read this list for Disney. No one would be requiring to be captioned or SDH on DVD by Disney and Universal for
TV shows on DVD, re-release collection, others than all-new theatrical releases. Except for label it says so I can list to post them on my website:
1) "Bonus Feature/s not Rated, Not subtitled" from Universal;
2) Disney made a wrong label for this TV show: Dinosaurs: The Complete Third and Fourth Seasons has been said, "Bonus Material not subtitled." But this DVD with bonus materials have closed-captioned or SDH.
3) And one more for re-release that wasn't been captioned on bonus materials from Warner Bros, MGM, Universal, Buena Vista, Sony and Dreamworks except Paramount.

"I am very discontent and angry with my complaint against Iowa for exempting
casinos from smoking ban. Why they are not make it for casinos, because
there are non-tribal casinos in some place near me?! Please come on, Iowa for
making a wonderful smoke-free environment in Iowa Casinos."

"TV Land forbidden on those captioning for 'The Addams Family' and 'The Munsters' TV shows (black and white)"
Why FCC didn't let deaf and hard-of-hearing watching classic TV shows, because therefore
are no 100% pre-rule programming, just only 75% pre-programming must be captioned
by 2008. Pre-rule programming means first aired or produced before January 1, 1998
for analog; and January 1, 2002 for digital.
However, I glad I have Netflix for renting on Addams Family from MGM home entertainment for disc one.
I am pleasantly not surprised that MGM did a great job for providing closed-captioning
for TV shows. So TV Land doesn't need to pay for that captioning, because they
releasing already out for DVD on all season of "The Addams Family" also
"The Munsters" from Universal Studios.
I have The Munsters: Season One -- there are for the Munsters fans for deaf and hard-of-hearing: WARNING: Unfortunately, this does contain bonus material is:
Never Seen Before TV Pilot does not have SDH or subtitles in other languages available however episodes does have subtitles as SDH (subtitled for deaf and hard-of-hearing).
I enjoyed "Addams Family very much more than "The Munsters". But I don't know if Addams Family has closed-captioning on bonus materials for Seasons One or Two because I rented it for Disc one that doesn't have bonus materials so I won't getting any information how I check if have accessibility for bonus materials.
__________________________________________________________________________

CAPTIONING OR NOT ON BONUS MATERIALS: Fortunately, I have Netflix so there
no matter what If I don't like movies; not having closed-captioning on bonus materials.

CLOSED-CAPTIONED OR SUBTITLED SDH list on bonus materials:

Lust, Caution (DVD) I surprised that Universal DOES HAVE SUBTITLES on bonus materials in audio English with English SDH, Espanol, and Francis!! Yay! Go, Universal Studios! Because there's a back of the box said,
"Bonus Feature Not Rated, Not Subtitled." Universal have label make mistaken oftentimes. Heh. What a fool someone think Universal doesn't have accessibility
on bonus materials.

NOT CLOSED-CAPTIONED OR SUBTITLED SDH ON BONUS MATERIALS list:

The Damages: Season 1
(DVD) is not closed-captioned or subtitled but episodes are
closed-captioned also subtitles in English and French.

P2: is not subtitled SDH.
